To better serve the Canadian market, St. Croix Sensory opened its first international odour laboratory in Toronto, Canada in February 2023.
St. Croix Sensory – Canada , is a third-party odour laboratory, dedicated to providing quality odour data and exceptional customer service to our Canadian clients. The laboratory offers a full range of olfactory evaluations, including thresholds, characterization, intensity and persistency values.
Olfaction, more than other senses, has an immense power to evoke memories and transport us to places and times. The appropriate addition of odour to our environment pulls us in emotionally.
Our experience and knowledge of odours and human perception has fostered our innovation into olfactory art & design. Like lighting and sound, proper olfactory art direction, including scent selection, dispensing and timing, can add elements to create an ambiance, spotlight a moment, and otherwise immerse the audience into a scene.
Since 2005, St. Croix Sensory has been working with directors and artists to apply scent to their theatrical productions and art installations to enhance their creative productions. Our work has received international recognition as a top creative innovator in olfactory art and design.
